Questions, answered

Know before
you create.

Can I edit a project in Kolora?

Yes. Native Kolora projects support five video and five audio layers plus dedicated Looks and Title layers. You can import and arrange media, refine timing, grade, transform, add effects and titles, animate with keyframes and export the finished project.

Can I import and return a project package?

Yes. Open a supported project package exported or shared from a compatible editor. That imported timeline remains locked for a safe grading round trip; create a native Kolora project when you want an editable timeline.

What media can I add to a native project?

Kolora can import video and still images from Photos, Files, on-device storage or a connected drive. Kolora requires iPadOS 17 or later. Cloud-hosted originals may need downloading before use.

What can I control when exporting?

Kolora provides controls for the export range, codec, bit depth, resolution, frame rate, bitrate and output color space. Available choices can depend on the project, device and release.

What can be animated with keyframes?

Kolora provides dedicated full-screen workspaces for animating supported grading controls, transforms, titles and visual effects. Its shared clipboard can copy compatible settings and keyframes between clips.

Do Kolora effects become part of an exported LUT?

No. Spatial and rendered effects such as grain, halation, blur, transforms and titles are saved with native Kolora projects and rendered into video exports; they are not embedded in color LUTs.

Does Kolora upload my projects?

No. Kolora processes imported projects and media on your device and does not upload them to servers operated by Kolora Creative LLC.

Do I need a Kolora account?

No. Kolora does not require an account.

Does Kolora replace my original media?

No. Original source media remains untouched. Kolora stores project state and creates new exports, while timelines imported through supported project packages remain locked for grading round trips. Always retain independent backups of important projects and media.
